Jared Shepard is the President / CEO of Intelligent Waves LLC (IW), a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) which he founded in 2006. He is an entrepreneur, a technical innovator, a leader, a philanthropist and a soldier. Jared’s priorities of “Mission and Service” are reflected through IW’s international support of the tactical, technical and strategic aspects of the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and through “Warriors Ethos” his veteran’s transition focused non-profit.
James Howell is the Senior Vice President of Professional Services and Chief Information Officer for Intelligent Waves LLC, with responsibility for contract execution and delivery across all lines of effort for the company. He provides subject matter expertise in Program Management, IT Operations, Engineering, and Multi-National / Coalition operations to a variety of organization and customers within the Department of Defense, the Department of Veterans Affairs, and other organizations and agencies.
As the CTO, Marqus has responsibility for establishing the Intelligent Waves’ technical vision and leading all aspects of the company’s technology development to include IT Department, Training, R&D, T&E, and VAR activities. Marqus brings over fifteen years of experience in Technical Integration, Network Architecting, Data Center Design, Security, Telecommunications Operations, Mobility and Daily IT Infrastructure Sustainment on an assortment of DOD and DOJ Programs.
Matt Stern is the Vice President, Cybersecurity and Chief Information Security Officer responsible not only for the Cybersecurity Line of Business but also the cybersecurity for Intelligent Waves, LLC. Matt is a retired combat veteran serving 22 years in the U.S. Army. His service culminated with command of 2d Battalion, 1st Information Operations Command , the Army Computer Emergency Response Team (ACERT) and Regional Computer Emergency Response Teams (RCERTs).
Dan is a financial executive with over 18 years of a proven track record in organizational leadership, with a heavy emphasis on financial planning and accounting systems. Dan has worked at government contractors, software startups and public accounting firms. Notably, Dan worked for 8 years at USIS, where he was promoted 4 times and was the VP of Finance, leading the financial operations of a $200 million security services division.
